These 3V types have the same nominal 20 mm diameter but different nominal heights: 1.6, 2.5 and 3.2 mm. Use the type specified by the device manufacturer; do not stack cells to make up a height difference.

Do not assume compatibility from size alone. LR44 is alkaline and SR44 is silver oxide. Their nominal voltages and discharge characteristics differ. Confirm the permitted type with the device manufacturer.
