  • Install with “+” and “-” polarity in the correct position.
  • Do not short-circuit, heat, disassemble, deform, weld or incinerate.
  • Do not mix new and used batteries, different brands or different battery types.
  • Remove exhausted batteries promptly and dispose of them correctly.
  • Keep batteries away from children. Seek urgent medical help if swallowed.
  • Do not store or carry batteries with metal objects.
  • Do not immerse in water or expose to high humidity.
  • Stop use immediately if leakage, abnormal heat, odour or deformation occurs.

  • If electrolyte contacts the eyes, rinse with running water for at least 15 minutes and consult a doctor.

⚑ Information on Prevention and Management of Waste Batteries for Primary Batteries

In accordance with the requirements of the EU Battery Directive and the Waste Framework Directive, information for end-users and distributors is provided below.

(a) Role of end-users in waste prevention

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for correct installation and use. Avoid short-circuiting and high temperatures or humidity. Remove batteries from devices that will not be used for an extended period.

(b) Role of end-users in separate collection (Article 64)

Do not discard batteries in unsorted municipal waste. Return used batteries to designated collection points to enable optimal material recovery or recycling.

(c) Separate collection, take-back and collection points

Spent batteries can be returned to retailers, municipal recycling centres, designated collection points or authorised waste facilities.

(d) Safety instructions to handle waste batteries

Prevent battery terminals from contacting metal objects. Never crush, open, burn or expose waste batteries to extreme heat. Handle leaking batteries with protective gloves and store separately in a suitable container.

(e) Meaning of labels and symbols (Article 13)
